Minnesota Energy Resources introduces new resource to save money and help the environment

August 5, 2015

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC)-- Minnesota Energy Resources introduces a new resource that will allow their customers save money and help the environment. The energy company gave away free water conservation kits.

The kits come with low-flow shower heads, faucet aerators, and other easy to install tools.

Minnesota Energy official Rory Lenton said the kits will allow families to easily save money as they use less water and energy.

"Well as they put these kits in what they'll do is that they will save water for each home and they'll also save on the energy it takes to heat that water when they're using the hot water, and of course the less you use the less you pay for so it'll help them financially while helping the environment," said Lenton

Kits can still be ordered, and for free, from Minnesota's Energy website or by giving them a call.
